What is meshwest?

When we started mesh in 2006, we wanted to create a Canadian event where people could come to talk about how the Web was changing how we live, work and play. Now, after five years, we’re taking mesh on the road! We started meshwest with a one-day event in Calgary in June, and soon we’ll be bringing the same great content and atmosphere to Edmonton and Vancouver. Like mesh, meshwest is focused on providing insight and stimulating conversations about media, society, marketing and business — and a place where to connect, share and be inspired. Hear from opinion leaders, entrepreneurs and experts about how the Web is impacting media, marketing, business and society.

Who should attend?

If you are excited about the potential of the Web, and looking to gain more insight into how it is affecting your business, community or life — and what kinds of changes could be coming in the future — then you should attend meshwest. We attract thought-provoking and engaging speakers but our events are also about connecting with and meeting new people. meshwest is designed to be interactive so we give you lots of time to connect with others and start conversations. Our attendees come from all across the spectrum – entrepreneurs and investors to marketers, non-profit workers and government employees.
